Preparation:

The perfect snack for the arrival of unexpected guests. Armenian pita is a thin and elastic cake made of fresh dough. Pita bread is a great help for housewives when you need to quickly set the table on the occasion of the arrival of guests, and it is good for a picnic. Such pita bread can be served for lunch with broth.

Step 1. To prepare pita bread with cheese, we will need the following products: one large sheet of thin Armenian pita bread, cheese, bell pepper, dill or parsley, a couple of cloves of garlic, salt and pepper.

Step 2. Let's start with the preparation of the filling. To do this, take cheese 4-9% fat. Thoroughly mash the cheese with cream cheese with a fork. Squeeze into the resulting mass a clove (you can and a couple of cloves) of garlic with a special press.

Step 3. Dill greens are thoroughly washed under running water and dried on a paper towel. Then finely chop the greens with a knife.

Step 4. Add the chopped greens to the cheese mixture and mix until smooth. If the mixture is too dry, you can add a teaspoon of sour cream.

Step 5. Spread a sheet of pita bread on the table. On it we put a thin layer of cheese mass with greens.

Step 6. Wash the red bell pepper, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. The snack will look very nice if you use bell peppers of different colors. Spread pepper cubes on top of pita bread with cheese.

Step 7. Turn the pita with cheese and pepper into a tight roll.

Step 8. Transfer the pita roll to a greased baking dish and grease the surface with egg, pre-stirring it in a cup with a fork.

Step 9. Sprinkle a roll of sesame seeds on top and bake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for about a quarter of an hour.

Step 10. Let the pita cool down a bit, then cut into pieces with a sharp knife. Serve as a snack hot or cold.
